Ranbir Kapoor (born 28 September 1982) is an Indian actor who appears in Bollywood films. Born to actors Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh, Kapoor began his career by assisting director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and later made his acting debut with the director's 2007 film Saawariya for which he won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. Kapoor later earned critical praise for his performances in Wake Up Sid, Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, and Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year in 2009. These performances earned him the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor, and he was later recognized for his role as an aspiring politician in the political thriller Raajneeti (2010).

 In 2012, Kapoor received his first Filmfare Award for Best Actor for his performance in the Imtiaz Ali-directed drama Rockstar, and his second award for his portrayal of a deaf-mute man in Barfi! (2012), which emerged as his biggest commercial success till date. 

 Having done so, Kapoor has established himself as one of the leading contemporary actors of Hindi cinema.

 In 2012, Kapoor appeared in Anurag Basu's romantic comedy Barfi! alongside Priyanka Chopra and Ileana D'Cruz. Cast as Murphy "Barfi" Johnson, a deaf-mute boy, Kapoor received rave reviews for his performance, earning him his second Filmfare Award for Best Actor.

While some of our actresses are busy making friends this season (read Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra), looks like the boys are better off sulking! We heard that at a recent awards event, Ranveer Singh and Ranbir Kapoor made it clear that they weren’t exactly the best of friends.

Sujoy Ghosh's Kahaani and Anurag Basu's Barfi struck big at the Filmfare Awards this year. Barfi was adjudged best film and got Ranbir Kapoor the 'best actor (male)' award while Vidya Balan bagged the 'best actor (female)' title for Kahaani that also won Sujoy Ghosh the best director prize.

The Filmfare Awards held on Sunday were a star-studded experience. 

 Amongst those attending the awards ceremony were Madhuri Dixit, Ranbir Kapoor, Vidya Balan, Sidharth Roy Kapoor, Parineeti Chopra, Boney Kapoor, Sridevi, Sonali Bendre, Goldie Behl, Deepika Padukone and Rekha.

Dashing and refined actor Ranbir Kapoor has once again repeated the history after winning the Best Actor award for his acclaimed film Barfi! 

at the 58th Idea Filmfare Awards, held in Mumbai.

The actor had previously won the 57th Idea Filmfare Awards in the same category for Rockstar movie. 

 

Not only Ranbir but actress Vidya Balan has also repeated her success just like the previous Filmfare Awards after winning the Best Actress category for Kahaani this time.

Keanu Charles Reeves ( born September 2, 1964) is a Canadian actor. Reeves is perhaps best known for his roles in Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, Speed, Point Break and the science fiction-action trilogy The Matrix. 

He has worked under major directors, such as Stephen Frears (in the 1988 period drama Dangerous Liaisons); Gus Van Sant (in the 1991 independent film My Own Private Idaho, also written by Van Sant); and Bernardo Bertolucci (in the 1993 film Little Buddha). The actor was left reeling when his girlfriend Jennifer Syme died in a car accident in 2001.

She had given birth to their daughter Ava Archer who was stillborn.

He carried a cycle helmet in his hand and was dressed down in jeans, T-shirt and green jacket.

Rush Hour star Jackie Chan is spearheading a charity concert to benefit Japan's earthquake and tsunami victims. The event, dubbed the Love Without Borders 3/11 Candelight Gala, takes place April 1 at Hong Kong's Victoria Park and participants include singers such as Alan Tam, Shirley Kwan and Chinese-American rapper Jin.

The group has recorded the song "Succmb Not to Sorrow" which is based on a Japanese poem and serves as the theme for the concert.

On 22 June 2009, Chan left Los Angeles to begin filming The Karate Kid, a remake of the 1984 original, in Beijing. The film was released in America on 11 June 2010 and sees Chan's first dramatic American film. In the film, he plays Mr. Han, a kung fu master and maintenance man who teaches Jaden Smith's character, Dre, kung-fu so he can defend himself from school bullies. In Chan's next movie, Shaolin, he plays the cook of the temple instead of one of the major characters.

Jackie Chan's 100th film 1911 was released on 26 September 2011. He is the co-director, executive producer, and lead star of the movie.

Jackie Chan won the Favorite Buttkicker award at the Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards in 2011 for The Karate Kid.

Viggo Peter Mortensen, Jr. (born October 20, 1958) is a Danish-American actor, poet, musician, photographer and painter. 

He made his film debut in Peter Weir's 1985 thriller Witness, and subsequently appeared in many notable films of the 1990s, including The Indian Runner (1991), Carlito's Way (1993), Crimson Tide (1995), The Portrait of a Lady (1996), G.I. Jane (1997), A Perfect Murder (1998), and A Walk on the Moon (1999).

Mortensen made his major breakthrough in 2001 with the epic film trilogy The Lord of the Rings.

Acting career

In 2005, Mortensen starred in David Cronenberg's A History of Violence. He was nominated for a Satellite Award for Outstanding Actor in a Motion Picture for this role. In the DVD extras for A History of Violence, David Cronenberg relates that Mortensen is the only actor he'd come across who would come back from weekends with his family with items he had bought to use as props on the set.

In 2006, he starred as Captain Diego Alatriste in Alatriste, based on the series of novels The Adventures of Captain Alatriste, written by the Spanish writer Arturo Pérez-Reverte.

In September 2007, the film Eastern Promises, directed by David Cronenberg, was released to critical acclaim for the film itself and for Mortensen's performance as a Russian gangster on the rise in London. His nude fight scene in a steam room was applauded by Roger Ebert: "Years from now, it will be referred to as a benchmark." Mortensen's performance in Eastern Promises resulted in his winning the Best Performance by an Actor in a British Independent Film award from the British Independent Film Awards. He was also nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actor.

He said: "Ben's making a great movie now called 'Argo'. It's really, really good. 

"I can't get him to put me in it because he took the best role. He took the lead. I called him and was like, 'Dude, why don't you fire yourself and put me in it man? I'd be great in this.' " 

Despite the disappointment, Matt is still looking forward to working with Ben again in the future.

He added: "We really want to work together again. We have a couple of things we're developing, so we're hoping we can work together." 

Ben's career stalled a decade ago with a string of flop movies and Matt feels "vindicated" that his friend has now got his professional life back on track. 

He said: "That was really hard for me to watch as his friend, because I didn't think it was fair to him.

"It's more of a relief to me, to be honest. As his writing partner, I know how great he is. I always knew that better than anybody, so now I just feel vindicated. Everything is right with the Force again."

In 2010, Damon re-teamed with director Paul Greengrass, who directed him in the Bourne Supremacy and Bourne Ultimatum, for the action thriller Green Zone, which flopped commercially and received ambivalent reception from critics.

In motion pictures that feature him either as a leading actor or as a supporting co-star, his films have grossed a total of U.S.$1.94 to U.S.$2.42 billion (based on counting his roles as strictly lead or including supporting roles, respectively) at the North American box office, placing him in the top forty grossing actors of all time.

He has appeared as a guest star in an episode of Arthur, titled The Making of Arthur, as himself. During Season 5 of 30 Rock, he appeared as guest star in the role of Liz Lemon's boyfriend in the episodes "I Do I Do," "The Fabian Strategy," "Live Show," and "Double Edged Sword."

She first appeared in an advertisement when she was 11 months old. Barrymore made her film debut in Altered States in 1980. Afterwards, she starred in her breakout role in E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. In 2010, Barrymore reunited with former partner Justin Long on the set of Going the Distance, directed by Nanette Burstein. A R-rated romantic comedy about a couple dealing the ups and downs of a long distance relationship while commuting between New York City and San Francisco, the largely improvised film garnered generally mixed reviews by critics, who summed it as "timelier and a little more honest than most romantic comedies."

Budgeted at US$32 million, the film became a moderate financial success at a worldwide box office total of US$40 million.

In 2011, it was announced that Barrymore has been cast alongside John Krasinski in Ken Kwapis's Big Miracle (2012), a romantic drama based on the 1989 book Freeing the Whales, which covers Operation Breakthrough, the 1988 international effort to rescue gray whales from being trapped in ice near Point Barrow, Alaska.

In May 2007, Barrymore was named Ambassador Against Hunger for the United Nations World Food Programme and later donated $1 million to the cause. In September 2010,

In 1991, at the age of 16, Barrymore became engaged to Leland Hayward, grandson of Hollywood producer Leland Hayward. After a few months, this engagement was called off. Barrymore was engaged to and lived with musician/actor Jamie Walters in 1992–93.

She was married to Welsh bartender turned bar owner Jeremy Thomas from March 20 to April 28, 1994. Barrymore married comedian Tom Green on July 7, 2001. Green filed for divorce in December 2001. The divorce was finalized on October 15, 2002.

 

In 2002, Barrymore began dating The Strokes' drummer Fabrizio Moretti, soon after they met at a concert. Their five year relationship ended on January 10, 2007.

She dated actor Justin Long, but they confirmed their split in July 2008. The couple reunited in 2009 and co-starred in the 2010 film Going the Distance. The two then reportedly split again in 2010 and Drew started dating the son of former Chanel CEO Will Kopelman.
